Agrana Fruit Mexico receives the 2011 National Quality Award

On March 1st at the National Museum of Anthropology, Agrana Fruit Mexico received the 2011 National Quality Award, the National Quality Award is the highest organizational distinction in the county given by the President of Mexico to companies and Institutions that are distinguished for having an administration model that promotes abilities that are hard to imitate, guaranteeing competitiveness and sustainability, and with this represent a role model.

On March 1st at the National Museum of Anthropology, Agrana Fruit Mexico received the 2011 National Quality Award, the National Quality Award is the highest organizational distinction in the county given by the President of Mexico to companies and Institutions that are distinguished for having an administration model that promotes abilities that are hard to imitate, guaranteeing competitiveness and sustainability, and with this represent a role model.

The head of the Economic State Department (Secretaria de Economia SE), Bruno Ferrari, stated that Mexico continues innovating and making important efforts in order to elevate the economic performance and competitiveness. While leading the National Quality Awards ceremony, Mr. Ferrari said "Mexicans know how to translate our adversities into opportunities and produce excellent results from the capacity and talent of the administrators and their employees".  

By assisting with the presidential representation, the head of Economy assured that this acknowledgement of excellence given to companies and institutions is an award for institutions that impulse productivity, competitiveness, have promoted job creation and the efficiency to reach the highest levels of quality and development in Mexico.   

Humberto Cantu Delgado, President of the Board of the Instituto para el Fomento a la Calidad Total (Instiute for the Promote of Total Quality); Daniel Servitje Montull, CEO of Grupo Bimbo, Roberto Servitje Sendra, President of the Administration Board of Grupo Bimbo and Jorge Davila Flores, President of the Confederacion de Camaras Nacionales de Comercio, Servicio y Turismo, "CONCANACO-SERVYTUR" (National Chamber of Commerce, Service and Turism) were all present in the award ceremony.  

The awarded companies were:  

  • Laboratorios Licon y Cristal Laminado o Templado, in the Medium Industry Category.
  • Agrana Fruit Mexico, Barcel and Turbo Tecnologia de Reparaciones, in the Large Industry Category.
  • Kidzania de Mexico, in the Large Service Category.
  • Escuela Primaria Chapultepec, in the Education Category.
  • Pemex Petroquimica y Subdireccion de Generacion CFE, in the Government Category
    Centro de Retina Medica y Quirurgica, in the Small Health Category.
  • Unidad Medica de Alta Especialidad, Hospital de Cardiologia No. 34, IMSS and The American British Cowdray Medical Center, in the Health Category.
